…that I made the choice to convert to the Mac platform so as to avoid having to deal with Vista!
My Mom had to get a new machine this week after the processor on her old one went out. Of course it came with Vista and, after a couple of days of futzing about with it getting all her stuff converted from her old hard drive, I can honestly say I don’t like the changes they made between XP and Vista.
I’m not opposed to learning new operating systems (as evidenced by the switch to OS X), but Vista seems to have been reorganized for the sake of reorganization. Perhaps my history with Windows has made me a little harsher in that regard, but Vista sems so completely different that it almost seems like a completely new operating system.
Oh well, I thank the stars every day that I’m now a “Mac head”.
